Better than Santa Claus..
Listen to the commentary or read it below.
Something good if used to an extreme is not good or if it becomes a god thing it becomes a bad thing right.
Santa Claus has been an issue of debate among Christian parents and the church for awhile. I don’t have a problem with Santa Claus unless one puts Santa before Jesus. By the way there was a real guy named Santa who used to give gifts to others in the name of Christ. Perhaps we should teach our kids more about that Santa.
I want to read part of something I found on the net. I am going to post the whole piece in this posting below because it is too long for me to read.
It is called Why Jesus is better than Santa Claus.
Santa lives at the North Pole…
JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh…
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year…
JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies…
JESUS supplies your needs.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree…
JESUS became our gift and died on a tree…the cross.
Don’t forget the truth of the following Christmas song.
“Christmas -isn’t Christmas
‘til it happens in your heart
Somewhere -deep inside you
Is where Christmas really starts
So give –your -heart to Jesus
You’ll discover when you do
That is Christmas -Really Christmas
for you ”
What do you think.
Merry Christmas!

Teen with rare disease get two tickets from the police
A Wisconsin teen suffering from a life-threatening condition got a Christmas surprise from her father when she was pulled over by a police officer who presented her with two tickets, Fox 6 Now reported.
Audra Daniloff, 17, was pulled over on November 21 by an officer who told her she had rolled through a stop sign – but it was all a set-up by Audra’s dad, Marc.

“I got some good news and some bad news for you, okay?” said Saukville Police Chief, Jeffrey Goetz during the stop. “The bad news, first I am giving you two tickets. But they are not the type of tickets you think. One is a plane ticket to New York. The other is a concert ticket for your favorite band.”
Last year, Audra was diagnosed with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, or HLH — a condition where the immune system becomes overstimulated, damaging a patient’s tissues and organs, including the bone marrow, liver and brain.

11-year-old boy with rare disease donates 1,000 holiday toys to children’s hospital
An 11-year-old boy living with a rare disease delivered more than 1,000 toys to patients at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA Monday, NBCLosAngeles.com reported.
Casey Abrams knows what it’s like to spend holidays and birthdays in the hospital. He suffers from a rare, progressive and degenerative intestinal disease, which has landed him in the hospital many times since birth.
When he was just 6 years old, Casey decided he wanted to help make the holidays of other pediatric patients at Mattel Children’s a little brighter. He started collecting toy donations for the Chase Child Life program – which distributes them during the holiday season, on patients’ birthdays or when they undergo procedures.

Isn’t good at times to focus on something holy and truly good.
Listen to the commentary by clicking here or read it below.
It is Christmas Eve 2014. On this night I try blog about something truly holy. Every year it gets harder and harder to do that.
If one would ask me why it is so hard to do that I would tell them just to look at what is taking place in our world. This last weekend in New York two police officers were murdered in cold blood. We have wars going on. Children are being abused. Young folks are not listening to their parents and responsible for more adult crimes than ever before. God and so called family values have been kicked out of the government schools while the condoms and other un-Godly things are allowed in them. Some kids who refused to walk away from their love for the Savior were killed a few weeks ago. Persecution against followers of Christ around the world has increased. Reading or hearing all this news might bring one to ask is there hope or where is the hope. That is why this season was created to bring into this world hope. Matthew 1:23 says “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”[a] (which means “God with us”).
Do you know that hope? If not you can by embracing the Christ child who was born that first Christmas, died on the cross and was raised from the dead.
What do you think.
Merry Christmas,
Until next time,

Who is responsible for NY cop killings
Listen to the commentary here or read it below.
If somebody does or says something that leads to another soul being hurt do they not need to take at least some responsibility for what has happened.
New York City and America this last Saturday honored one of the two police officers killed there in cold blood last week by a man who it appears hated America and the police.
The killer of the cops is mainly responsible for their deaths. No one else is to blame but as Cal Thomas said in a radio commentary last week,”plenty OF POLITICIANS STIRRED THE POT, FROM PRESIDENT OBAMA, TO NEW YORK CITY MAYOR BILL DIBLASIO, TO AL SHARPTON. THEIR ANTI-POLICE STATEMENTS MAY NOT HAVE DIRECTLY PULLED THE TRIGGER, BUT THEY SAID ENOUGH THAT THE SICK MAN WHO DID PULL THE TRIGGER MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE BENEFICIARY OF THEIR AID AND COMFORT.” That is a quote from Cal Thomas.
The Vice President attended the service on Saturday but his boss has encouraged lack of respect for the men in blue.
Yes there are bad cops just like there are bad students and office workers. However most police are good citizens who are trying to make this sinful world a better place.
For the most part those who hate the police never attend services for dead cops but if the police do one little thing wrong they are the first to yell fire.
PRESIDENT OBAMA, NEW YORK CITY’s MAYOR and AL SHARPTON have blood on their hands.
What do you think.
