Apologist: Biblical worldview key to solving racial tensions

An expert on religion and culture says a recent poll on race relations proves America needs to return to the Bible-based values and morals on which it was based.

The recent CBS/New York Times poll shows that 61 percent of Americans believe racial harmony is worse than it was 20 years ago. The poll also marks the first time since 1997 that majorities of both white and black respondents believe race relations are poor.

Dr. Alex McFarland, co-host of American Family Radio‘s “Exploring the Word,” attributes this racial disharmony to a couple of factors, but foremost to the breakdown of the family.

Priests for Life hopes to present case before high court

Another major ObamaCare lawsuit is heading to the nation’s high court. 

Priests for Life follows Catholic doctrine against contraception and abortion, and opposes being forced to provide free coverage in Obamacare.

American Freedom Law Center attorney Rob Muise carried the pro-life case to the D.C. Court of Appeals, which denied the petition to rehear the case with a full court, known as en banc

Memorial Day fact 

Memorial Day, an American holiday observed on the last Monday of May, honors men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. First known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971.It is not a day to honor veterans. They should be honored other days but today is a day to honor those who gave their lives so we could enjoy the freedom we enjoy today.
