San Francisco 49ers Pro. gay Video

A pro-family leader says the San Francisco 49ers of the NFL is caving to political correctness by supporting a “gay” rights campaign.

The 49ers is the first NFL team to make a video that encourages lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) teens that “It Gets Better.”

The video is focussed on young people who are bullied because of their sexual orientation. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that a 49ers fan asked the team through an online petition to shoot the video, and the team responded.

Larry Jacobs, managing director of the World Congress of Families, tells OneNewsNow why he has a problem with this.

“The problem with the ‘It Gets Better’ campaign is that it, again, is special rights — singling out a particular group that is no more harmed than any other groups, and really singling them out for special attention and special rights, special things that should also be shared with lots of other people that are being bullied,” he contends. “It really is, again, another example of money and resources being given to a special class, a group of people, and discriminating against many others who are being bullied.”

The video features defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois, linebacker Ahmad Brooks and safety Donte Whitner.

In the video, Whitner tells LGBT kids that the entire 49ers organization is on their side and promises it will get better.
I wonder if there are any followers of Christ on this team who will do what the Bible says to do hate the sin but love the sinner that includes the sin of the gay life. I also wonder if this football team will ever make a video that supports traditional values if a fan asks them to.
