A new organization aimed at providing Christian-based help for homosexuals is in the beginning stages of development. It is designed to be a place for homosexuals disenchanted with Exodus International.

Frank Worthen, one of the founders of the new Restored Hope Network, was a key figure in the founding of Exodus International 38 years ago. He tells OneNewsNow that group was founded on the principle that change is possible, that there is transforming power through Jesus Christ.

But “recently, Exodus has changed its message so that they basically dump the message that ‘change is possible,'” Worthen reports.

He also points out that Exodus International Chief Alan Chambers made a statement before a homosexual group that he expected to see homosexuals who have a sincere relationship with Christ in heaven — suggesting that would be in spite of living in homosexual sin. So, Worthen and others felt motivated to set up the Restored Hope Network, which is Christ-centered and provides real help for homosexuals.
