More to life than basketball

A legendary Ohio State and NBA basketball player has taken his success on the court to conducting memory-training seminars in churches across the country.

 

 

 

Jerry Lucas (Doctor Memory)Jerry Lucas played on the 1960 Ohio State NCAA championship team and was chosen seven times as an NBA All-Star during his 11-year professional basketball career with the Cincinnati Royals, San Francisco Warriors, and New York Knicks. But even with those accolades and achievements, the NBA Hall of Famer discovered something was missing.

“I became a Christian and realized there’s far more to life than basketball and the world and the aspects of what we look at in life, and I devoted my life to making a difference in education — and I’ve been doing that ever since,” he tells OneNewsNow. “It’s been the most exciting thing I’ve ever done.”
