Jesus’ name ‘obscene’?

An international human rights organization for religious freedom fears that Pakistan’s new law that censors text messages may hinder the spread of the gospel.

 In order to protect young people from hearing what it considers to be “obscene” words, the government of Pakistan is proposing that the use of such language be blocked. But as Jonathan Racho of International Christian Concern (ICC) tells OneNewsNow, “Jesus” is included on the list. (Jesus’ name ‘obscene’? )
“Those names include ‘breast’ [and] ‘homosexuals’ and some offensive words that some cultures also don’t want used,” he reports. “But it is outrageous for them to consider the name of Jesus Christ as offensive.”
